Estate Planning Question?

Do you have an estate planning question? Almost everyone who reads this page has a question about something related to estate planning.

Your question could be related to your will or trust. Or, maybe you wonder if you need a will or trust or power of attorney.

As we talk about on this site, almost anything related to your finances or assets is relevant to estate planning. So, there's a very, very broad range of estate planning questions that people have.

Of course, many of these questions are already answered in various places on this site. You can do a site search for it.

But, if you can't find the answer elsewhere, feel free to submit your question through the form below and we'll do the best we can to answer it. Include whatever information you think is relevant to your question. The nice thing is your question and answer will be published here so others can be helped as well.

We can't give specific legal advice for a number of reasons including the fact that your state or locality may have unique laws that could change the outcome in your case. You can't consider any answer here (or elsewhere on this site) as legal advice -- see our terms of use. But, we can give you general estate planning information that might be helpful to you.

If nothing else, at least you will have more understanding to help formulate the questions you need to ask your attorney and information you need to provide him or her. As a result, your visit with your lawyer will be more efficient and productive; and that will save you time and money.

Also, your question will be posted on this site and read by others. Odds are if you have a question, many other visitors to this site wonder the same thing. So your question and the information this community provides in response could help many others as well.

Just type your question on the form below.

I just want to thank you for this site. It answered my questions. I think many people that do research on the net take it for granted and when they find what they are looking for they forget "someone put time, money, etc into providing me with this information."

Thank you!
