Need to sale my house but on medicaid

by Tammie

If I've been on medicaid since 2000 and, and can no longer keep it up, can I take and build onto my daughter house for me and her help taking care of me without a pentalty? I will be using the money to invest in adding me a kitchen, bedroom and small living room. The house may only bring 130.00 because I'm not able to make repairs.

I just want to thank you for this site. It answered my questions. I think many people that do research on the net take it for granted and when they find what they are looking for they forget "someone put time, money, etc into providing me with this information."

Thank you!
