How Do I Qualify for Medicaid?

Question:

If my parent had Medicaid, do I still have it?

Answer:

Hi thanks for the question. Each individual must qualify for Medicaid separately, based on their own assets and income. The only exception is that the assets of the spouse of a Medicaid applicant are counted, although the income of that spouse is not.

I just want to thank you for this site. It answered my questions. I think many people that do research on the net take it for granted and when they find what they are looking for they forget "someone put time, money, etc into providing me with this information."

Thank you!
